Scholarships that help students overcome financial barriers

Pinellas Community Foundation collaborates with our fundholders to offer scholarships that help students of all ages reach higher education. Let one of our scholarships support you in building a brighter future.

Two ways in

Are you applying, or funding?

Students find and apply for a scholarship below. Donors and families who want to honor someone create a scholarship fund with PCF. Pick your path.

For students

Find a scholarship that fits you

Each scholarship has its own focus: a school, a field of study, a hometown, or a life experience. Read who each one is for, then apply where it says.

1

Scan the list and note the scholarships you qualify for.

2

Check how to apply. Some take an online application through PCF, others go through your college or academy.

3

Read the full selection criteria on the scholarship’s own page, or ask the school, before you apply.

For donors

Create a scholarship fund

A scholarship fund at PCF opens doors for local students pursuing college, vocational training, or advanced study. You decide the purpose and criteria that matter most to you; PCF manages the process from start to finish.

1

Define your vision. Choose a focus such as financial need, academic merit, specific schools, fields of study, or student backgrounds.

2

Sign a simple agreement. We help you create a document that outlines your goals and criteria.

3

Fund now or later. Give today, or plan a future gift through your estate.

Many donors begin with a modest gift and grow the fund over time, whether $5,000 or $500,000.
